Review Weaver Kaspa 2-7×33 Rifle Scope

Looked at the Weaver KASPA Series 2-7×33 rifle scope Model 849801 today. The scope is made in China and it was under a $100.00 the optics are clear through the entire magnification range,  the finish looked good.  And it is not bulky like a lot of scopes today. So I decided to get it and a set of Leupold Quick detach rings for my Marlin 1895 SBL.

Got it home anWeaver Model 849801d mounted it on my Marlin 1895SBL, used the laserlyte bore sighter to set the set the crosshairs  to one inch high at 25 yards.  Set the rifle down to move the rest an knock it over, when I pick the rifle up and looked through  scope the crosshairs were canted about 5 degrees  to the right. I know  that your not suppose to bump your scope, but I have a Leaper  on  my AR15 that has been through hell and hasn’t been knocked out of zero let alone have the crosshairs canted.

So I removed the scope from my rifle, set it up on the lower Leupold rings and level the scope as can be seen in the  attached photos that scope is level and the crosshairs canted to the right. I don’t know if at this point if I’ll buy another Weaver scope.  I ordered a Redfield Revolution.
